Ziti with Fresh Spinach and Tomatoes (Ziti con Spinaci Freschi e Pomodoro)

Ingredients

2 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
3 slicespancetta, chopped
1 cuponion, chopped
3 clovesgarlic, minced
1/2 jarBARILLA Marinara Sauce
2 tablespoonswhite wine
1 package (10 ounces)spinach, rinsed and trimmed
1 box (16 ounces)BARILLA Ziti
1/2 cupfresh Parmigiano cheese, grated


HEAT oil in large skillet over medium heat. Sauté pancetta 1 to 2 minutes. Add onion and garlic; continue cooking 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
ADD Marinara Sauce and wine; simmer 4 minutes.
ADD spinach and sauté 2 minutes or until wilted, stirring occasionally.
COOK Ziti according to package directions; drain and return to pot.
ADD spinach mixture to hot Ziti; toss. Transfer to serving platter; sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 to 6 servings



Substitute ham or bacon for pancetta.
