Piccolini® Mini Penne with Ham, Peas and Creamy Parmigiano Sauce

Ingredients

1 boxPiccolini® Mini Penne
2 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
6 ouncescooked ham, diced
2 cupsmilk
1 cupfrozen peas
¼ cupchives, minced
to tastesalt
1 cupParmigiano cheese, grated


HEAT oil and ham in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté for 2 minutes or until the ham is starting to brown.
ADD the milk, bring to a boil and simmer for 7 minutes, or until reduced by half, stirring constantly.
ADD the peas, and continue to simmer for 2 more minutes.
Meanwhile, COOK the Piccolini Mini Penne according to the package directions. Drain and toss the pasta with the sauce, season with salt and pepper. Finish the sauce with the chive and Parmigiano, serve immediately
