| 1 box | Piccolini® Mini Penne |
| 2 tablespoons | extra virgin olive oil |
| 6 ounces | cooked ham, diced |
| 2 cups | milk |
| 1 cup | frozen peas |
| ¼ cup | chives, minced |
| to taste | salt |
| 1 cup | Parmigiano cheese, grated |
BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
HEAT oil and ham in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté for 2 minutes or until the ham is starting to brown.
ADD the milk, bring to a boil and simmer for 7 minutes, or until reduced by half, stirring constantly.
ADD the peas, and continue to simmer for 2 more minutes.
Meanwhile, COOK the Piccolini® Mini Penne according to the package directions. Drain and toss the pasta with the sauce; season with salt and pepper.
FINISH the sauce with the chives and Parmigiano cheese. Serve immediately.
