Penne with Fresh Herbs and Cheese Pesto (Penne con Erbe Fresche e Formaggio)

Ingredients

1 boxBARILLA Penne
2 clovesgarlic
10 leavesfresh basil
1 teaspoonmarjoram
1 tablespoonItalian parsley
½ cupextra virgin olive oil
to tastesalt
to tastefreshly ground black pepper
½ cupPecorino cheese, grated
¼ cupParmigiano cheese, grated


BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
COMBINE garlic, basil, marjoram, parsley and grated cheese in the bowl of a blender.
DRIZZLE in the oil, with the blender running and process for about 2 minutes.
SEASON the mixture to taste with the salt and pepper.
COOK Penne according to package directions. Drain and toss the Penne with the pesto sauce and serve immediately
