Mini Ziti with Sugo alla Napoletana, Baby Back Pork Ribs and Broccoli Rabe (Mini Ziti con Sugo alla Napoletana con Costine di Maiale e Rapini)

Ingredients

1 rackbaby back pork ribs
1 bunch (1 pound)broccoli rabe (rapini)
1 box (16 ounces)BARILLA Mini Ziti
1/4 cupextra virgin olive oil
1/2 cupwhite onion, chopped
1/2 cupchopped carrot
1/2 cupchopped celery
1garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoonfresh marjoram leaves, chopped
1/8 teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 bottle (17 ounces)BARILLA Restaurant Creations Sugo alla Napoletana
1/2 cuphot water, divided
1/4 cupfreshly grated Parmigiano cheese


PREHEAT oven to 300°F.
PLACE ribs on cookie sheet and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 1-1/2 hours. Remove from oven and cool. Remove meat from bones, cutting into small chunks.
TRIM broccoli rabe leaves and florets from stems. Bring 2 quarts of salted water to a boil; add broccoli rabe. Heat until water returns to a boil (about 3 minutes). Drain and set aside.
COOK Mini Ziti according to package directions. Drain and return to pot.
HEAT oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic; sauté 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in broccoli rabe, pork, marjoram and hot pepper flakes. Add both jars of Restaurant Creations. Rinse each jar with ¼ cup hot w



For ease in handling, ribs can be baked a day ahead and refrigerated overnight. Substitute ½ teaspoon dried marjoram leaves for fresh.
