Linguine with Garlic and Crushed Red Pepper (Linguine con Aglio e Peperoncino)

Ingredients

1/4 cupextra virgin olive oil
3/4 teaspoonred pepper flakes, crushed
1 teaspoonsalt
1/4 teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
3/4 cupparsley, chopped
5 clovesgarlic, minced
1 box (16 ounces)BARILLA Linguine


HEAT oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add crushed red pepper, salt and black pepper; cook 2 minutes. Add parsley and garlic; sauté for one minute.
Cook Linguine according to package directions; drain and return to pot.
ADD oil mixture to hot Linguine; toss. Transfer to serving platter. Makes 4 to 6 servings



For extra flavor, sprinkle with freshly grated Parmigiano cheese.
