| 1 box | BARILLA Large Shells |
| 1/4 cup | extra virgin olive oil |
| 1 cup | white onion, chopped |
| 1 can (28 ounces) | crushed tomatoes |
| to taste | salt |
| to taste | freshly ground black pepper |
| 1/2 pound | Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled |
| 2 leaves | fresh basil, chopped |
HEAT olive oil in a large skillet. Add onion and sauté for a few minutes over medium heat.
ADD crushed tomatoes, salt and black pepper. Simmer 10 minutes.
STIR in gorgonzola cheese and dissolve.
COOK pasta according to the package directions. Drain and toss with the sauce.
SPRINKLE with fresh basil.
