Large Shells with Tomatoes and Gorgonzola Sauce

Ingredients

1 box BARILLA Large Shells
1/4 cupextra virgin olive oil
1 cupwhite onion, chopped
1 can (28 ounces)crushed tomatoes
to tastesalt
to tastefreshly ground black pepper
1/2 poundGorgonzola cheese, crumbled
2 leavesfresh basil, chopped


HEAT olive oil in a large skillet. Add onion and sauté for a few minutes over medium heat.
ADD crushed tomatoes, salt and black pepper. Simmer 10 minutes.
STIR in gorgonzola cheese and dissolve.
COOK pasta according to the package directions. Drain and toss with the sauce.
SPRINKLE with fresh basil.
