Easy Cheesy Meatballs (Polpette Semplici con Formaggio)

Ingredients

1 jarBARILLA Marinara (may substitute with any Barilla Sauce flavor)
1 poundground beef
1/3 cupItalian breadcrumbs
1/4 cupmilk
to tastesalt
to tastefreshly ground black pepper
1/2 cupparmesan cheese, divided


PREHEAT oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with foil.
SOAK breadcrumbs with milk in a medium bowl for 15 minutes.
ADD ground beef, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well. ROLL ground beef mixture into 1 inch balls. Place on prepared baking sheet.
BAKE for 20 minutes until brown and cooked through.
HEAT Sauce to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat.
ARRANGE meatballs in serving bowl. Pour sauce over meatballs and sprinkle with parmesan cheese



May serve as appetizer or with pasta meal.
