Chicken and Rice with Mushroom Sauce (Riso con Pollo e Salsa ai Funghi)

Ingredients

1 jarBARILLA Mushroom & Garlic Sauce
3 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
1 poundboneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut in bite size pieces
2 cupsrice
1 package (9 ounces)frozen artichoke hearts, defrosted
1 package (10 ounces)frozen green beans
to tastesalt
to tastefreshly ground black pepper


HEAT olive oil in a large skillet. Add chicken and sauté until golden.
ADD rice, stir to coat with oil.
ADD artichoke hearts and green beans. Season with salt and pepper.
MIX in sauce and 1-1/2 jars of water. Bring to a simmer and cover.
COOK for 20 minutes
