Farfalle with Ricotta Cheese, Pancetta and Basil (Farfalle con Ricotta, Pancetta e Basilico)

Ingredients

1 boxBARILLA Farfalle
1 jarBARILLA Tomato & Basil Sauce
2 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
1 cupfinely chopped onion
2-1/2 ouncespancetta, chopped
2 clovesgarlic, minced
1 container (15 ounces)ricotta cheese
1/4 cupfresh basil, finely chopped
1 teaspoonsalt
1/8 tsp.freshly ground black pepper


HEAT oil in skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion, pancetta and garlic 4 to 5 minutes or until pancetta is cooked and onion is tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in ricotta, basil, Tomato and Basil Sauce, salt and pepper. Return to low heat; continue cooking until thoroughly heated.
COOK pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water. Return pasta to pot.
ADD reserved pasta water to sauce mixture and add hot pasta. Transfer to serving platter or bowl



Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmigiano cheese.
