PLUS™ Rotini with Spicy Tomato and Shrimp Sauce (Rotini PLUS™ con Salsa Piccante al Pomodoro e Gamberi)

Ingredients

1 boxPLUS™ Rotini
½ cupextra virgin olive oil
3 clovesgarlic, minced
½ teaspoonred pepper flakes
1 poundshrimp, peeled, deveined
1 can (28 ounces)crushed tomatoes
to tastesalt
to tastefreshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoonflat leaf Italian parsley, roughly chopped


ADD the oil and garlic to a medium sauté pan over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic for 3minutes.
ADD the shrimp and continue to sauté for 1 minute. Turn the shrimp and allow to cook on the other side for 1 additional minute.
INCREASE the heat to high and add the crushed tomatoes, salt and pepper. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes
COOK the Barilla PLUS Rotini according to the package directions. Drain and toss with the sauce.
GARNISH with parsley before serving
