| 1 box | PLUS® Penne |
| ½ cup | extra virgin olive oil |
| 2 cloves | garlic, minced |
| 1/2 teaspoon | red pepper flakes |
| 1 can (28 ounces) | diced Italian canned tomatoes |
| to taste | salt |
| 1 tablespoon | flat leaf Italian parsley |
| 2 tablespoons | Pecorino Romano cheese, grated |
ADD the oil, garlic and crushed red pepper to a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté for 3 minutes or until garlic turns slightly golden.
REDUCE the heat to medium and add the diced tomato. Season mixture with salt and simmer for 7 minutes.
Meanwhile COOK Barilla PLUS® Penne according to package directions. Drain and toss the pasta with the sauce.
STIR in cheese and parsley before serving.
