PLUS® Penne with Spicy Tomato Sauce
Penne PLUS® all’Arrabbiata

Ingredients

1 boxPLUS® Penne
½ cupextra virgin olive oil
2 clovesgarlic, minced
1/2 teaspoonred pepper flakes
1 can (28 ounces)diced Italian canned tomatoes
to tastesalt
1 tablespoonflat leaf Italian parsley
2 tablespoonsPecorino Romano cheese, grated


ADD the oil, garlic and crushed red pepper to a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté for 3 minutes or until garlic turns slightly golden.
REDUCE the heat to medium and add the diced tomato. Season mixture with salt and simmer for 7 minutes.
Meanwhile COOK Barilla PLUS® Penne according to package directions. Drain and toss the pasta with the sauce.
STIR in cheese and parsley before serving.
