| 1 box | PLUS® Penne |
| 1 jar | BARILLA® Marinara Sauce |
| 2 tablespoons | extra virgin olive oil |
| 1 clove | garlic, chopped |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh thyme, chopped |
| 1 pound | hot Italian sausage |
| 1/2 cup | white wine |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1/2 cup | Romano cheese, grated |
BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
SAUTE chopped garlic and thyme with oil over medium heat until the garlic turns light yellow.
ADD sausage and sauté for 5 minutes or until browned breaking into pieces. Deglaze with white wine; reduce well.
ADD Marinara Sauce, a cup of water and simmer for ten minutes or until the sauce is at the right consistency.
COOK pasta according to directions. Drain and toss with the sauce. Sprinkle with cheese before serving.
