Barilla PLUS® Penne with Marinara Sauce, Thyme and Italian Sausage (Penne Barilla PLUS® con Salsiccia Fresca Piccante, Timo e Salsa)

Ingredients

2 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
1 clovegarlic, chopped
1 tablespoonfresh thyme, chopped
1 poundhot Italian sausage
1/2 cupwhite wine
1 jarBARILLA Marinara Sauce
1 cupwater
1 boxBARILLA PLUS Penne
1/2 cupRomano cheese, grated


BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
SAUTE chopped garlic and thyme with oil over medium heat until the garlic turns light yellow.
ADD sausage and sauté for 5 minutes or until browned breaking into pieces. Deglaze with white wine; reduce well.
ADD Marinara Sauce, a cup of water and simmer for ten minutes or until the sauce is at the right consistency.
COOK pasta according to directions. Drain and toss with the sauce. Sprinkle with cheese before serving
