PLUS® Penne with Green and Black Olive Sauce, Italian Sausage, Pecorino Cheese and Basil

Ingredients

1 box PLUS® Penne
1 jar BARILLA® Green & Black Olive Sauce
1/3 cupextra virgin olive oil
1 poundItalian sausage, crumbled
2 tablespoonsfresh basil, chopped
1/2 cuppecorino Romano cheese, freshly grated


BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
HEAT olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add Italian sausage and cook for 5 minutes or until browned.
ADD Green & Black Olive Sauce and continue heating until sauce is heated through.
COOK pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss pasta with sauce mixture.
TRANSFER to a serving platter or bowl. Add basil and sprinkle with grated cheese. Serve immediately.
