Barilla PLUS® Penne with Chicken and Roasted Garlic Sauce (Penne Barilla PLUS® con Pollo e Salsa Campagnola)

Ingredients

1/4 cupextra virgin olive oil
1 poundboneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 teaspoonsalt
1/8 teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
1 sprigfresh rosemary
1 jarBARILLA Roasted Garlic Sauce
1 boxBARILLA PLUS Penne
1 tablespoonflat leaf parsley, finely chopped


BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
SEASON chicken with salt and pepper and add to skillet. Add rosemary; cook until chicken is lightly brown and cooked through.
ADD Roasted Garlic & Onion Sauce to skillet and heat through. Set aside.
ADD pasta to boiling water; cook according to package directions.
REMOVE rosemary sprig from sauce and heat sauce through while pasta is cooking.
DRAIN pasta and immediately add to sauce. Mix well.
TRANSFER to a serving platter or bowl. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve



Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmigiano cheese.
