| 1/2 box | PLUS® Angel Hair |
| 1 pound | Italian sausage* |
| 2 cloves | garlic, minced |
| 1 can (28 ounces) | Italian peeled tomatoes |
| 1 can (19 ounces) | cannellini beans, drained |
| 2 tablespoons | extra virgin olive oil |
| 1 bulb | fennel, thinly sliced |
| to taste | salt |
| to taste | freshly ground black pepper |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh basil, chopped |
BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
ADD sausage to a large skillet and brown over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and cannellini beans. Season with salt and black pepper. Simmer 15 minutes.
HEAT olive oil in a medium skillet. Add fennel and sauté until tender. Add cooked fennel to sauce.
COOK pasta according to package directions. Drain and add hot pasta to sauce. Mix well. Sprinkle with chopped basil.
*May substitute Italian flavored turkey sausage.
