Barilla Fettuccine with Sausage and Leeks

Ingredients

1 boxBARILLA Fettuccine
4 tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil, divided
1 poundItalian sausage, crumbled
1/2 cupdry white wine
2 cupsfresh Pecorino cheese, grated
to tastesalt
to tastefreshly ground black pepper


BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
BROWN sausage in a medium sauté pan in 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat.
ADD leeks, and sauté for two minutes.
ADD wine; simmer until liquid is almost completely evaporated (about 5 minutes). Season with salt and black pepper.
COOK Fettuccine according to package directions. Drain pasta and toss with the sauce.
STIR in cheese and remaining olive oil before serving
