Barilla Fettuccine with Sausage and Leeks

Ingredients
| 1 box | BARILLA Fettuccine | | 4 tablespoons | extra virgin olive oil, divided | | 1 pound | Italian sausage, crumbled | | 1/2 cup | dry white wine | | 2 cups | fresh Pecorino cheese, grated | | to taste | salt | | to taste | freshly ground black pepper |
BRING a large pot of water to a boil. BROWN sausage in a medium sauté pan in 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat. ADD leeks, and sauté for two minutes. ADD wine; simmer until liquid is almost completely evaporated (about 5 minutes). Season with salt and black pepper. COOK Fettuccine according to package directions. Drain pasta and toss with the sauce. STIR in cheese and remaining olive oil before serving
