| 1 box | BARILLA Ziti |
| 1 jar | BARILLA Marinara Sauce |
| 10 ounces | fresh mozzarella, sliced thin |
| 1 cup | Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated |
| 1 pound | lean ground beef |
| 1 pint | cherry tomatoes, halved |
| 2 cups | water |
| to taste | salt |
PREHEAT oven to 375 F.
BRING a large pot of water to a boil.
BROWN ground beef in a skillet over medium until thoroughly cooked. Drain off the excess grease.
ADD cherry tomatoes and sauté 1 minute. Mix in 1/2 jar of the Marinara sauce and water. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
COOK pasta 1 minute under the package recommended cook time. Drain and combine with remaining 1/2 jar of Marinara Sauce.
LAYER 1/2 of the pasta mixutre in a baking pan. Cover with a layer of the ground beef mixture. Next, layer with mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Repeat layers.
BAKE in oven until cheese is lightly browned on top, about 15-20 minutes.
