Barilla has experienced unprecedented growth over the past 15 years as customers around the world have been introduced to the great quality and flavor of Barilla pastas and sauces. In fact, leading global business consulting firm Bain & Company recently named Barilla a "Brand Growth All-Star." The firm analyzed 8,000 diverse consumer brands in 100 categories from 1997 through 2005, with those brands that grew faster than their category in each year announced as winners.
Barilla pasta was one of only 17 products to receive the “Brand Growth All-Star” honor by being a winner for both 1997-2001 and 2001-2005. The study found that the brands that were successful in achieving continued growth were characterized by innovation and a commitment to advertising, two qualities that have long been a hallmark of Barilla.
