½ jar BARILLA Marinara Sauce
½ leek cut in roundels
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil divided
1 pound Italian sausage casing removed
½ cup white wine
1/3 cup water
to taste salt
to taste black pepper
4 tablespoons Academia Barilla Tuscan Pecorino cheese shredded
1 tablespoon parsley chiffonade

Preparation 10 minutes preparation + 15 minutes cooking

SAUTÉ leeks in olive oil for two minutes.

ADD crumbled sausage, brown well.

DEGLAZE with wine and reduce well.

ADD BARILLA Marinara sauce,1/3 cup of water, season with salt and pepper and bring to a simmer.

COOK pasta according to package directions and toss with the sauce.

SERVE with shredded Pecorino and parsley.
