Mini Penne

Piccolini Mini Penne are a miniature version of the beloved Penne. Piccolini Mini Penne are more slender than their big sisters, Penne, but are still great with a variety of sauces ranging from basic butter or olive oil to more hearty vegetable or meat sauces.

1
Their tube-shape with angled ends was inspired by the quill of an old-style ink pen. Refined ridges adorn the surface to capture more sauce.

The ridges of Piccolini Mini Penne make it ideal for retaining sauces on the entire surface, inside and out! Try Piccolini Mini Penne with chunkier meat or vegetable-based sauces, refined dairy-based sauces like a mushroom cream sauce, tomato sauces, or spicy sauces. Piccolini Mini Penne are also delicious in baked casserole dishes, known as "pasta al forno".

1
1. Bring 4-6 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add salt to taste, if desired.
2. Add contents of package to boiling water. Stir gently.
3. Return to a boil. For authentic "al dente" pasta, boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for 7 minutes.
4. Remove from heat. Drain well and serve as desired.
