Italian coffee is famous throughout the world. Try preparing it on the stovetop using a “Moka” coffeemaker.

Ingredients for 4 people

ground coffee beans
water

Among the main varieties of coffee, Arabica has less caffeine and thus a sweeter, more delicate flavor. Robusta, on the other hand, is stronger and more aromatic.

Preparation

1
To make Italian coffee on the stovetop, pour water into the bottom part of the Moka.

2
Fill the filter with a sufficient amount of coffee in order to form a small bump on the top.

3
Do not pack down the coffee by pressing on it.

4
Screw on the top of the Moka and place it over low heat.

5
Wait until the coffee comes out and remove from the heat.
