Element of Fun
Good friends, good food, good wine and good conversation are the keys to having a successful party. Once dinner is finished we often want to continue the fun but need a little help extending the conversation. We found a great conversation starter called Table Talk (available online and at specialty shops). This series of questions come in a variety of topics: for couples, families, girls night out to name a few.
We selected the couples series and had a lot of fun getting to know one another better. The questions were often silly or thought provoking and sometimes…well…a little embarrassing. We have to admit there were a few we decided to skip over!
Some people like playing games and others don’t, so either let your guests know ahead of time what “element of fun” you have planned. No one wants to feel forced to participate or feel like a bad sport if they decline.
