“La Festa della Mamma” – Mother’s Day – is just as
special in Italy as it is in America. Kids love to give their
mothers flowers and other presents, and the whole family gathers for
a special midday meal of filled pasta followed by traditional
heart-shaped cakes. Italians labor over homemade tortellini on
special occasions like these, but Barilla tortellini is ready
whenever you are, and it’s so easy that the kids can make it – while
mom relaxes.

Today’s families are incredibly busy, leaving little
time to sit down to regular family meals. Research shows that
families who eat together regularly are more likely to eat
nutritious foods such as fruits and vegetables and are less
likely to develop unhealthy eating habits. Plan and enjoy a
healthful meal this weekend to reconnect
after a long, busy week.
